Khoya waale Dum Aloo


Ingredients

Baby potatoes 1/2 kg
Tomato  3
Onion 1
Garlic 5 cloves
Kasturi methi 2 tbsp
Green chilly 1
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Garam masala 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Cream (malai) 1 tbsp
Curd 1 tbsp
Khoya 1 tbsp
Ghee 1 tbsp
Bay leaves 2
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Method

Boil the baby potatoes till cooked( i usually prick them with fork and add salt to the boiling water and boil it for about 20minutes). Grind onion, tomato and green chilly in mixer to make it into a puree. In a pan heat ghee and add bay leaves, add the puree and also the kasturi methi, cover with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes, then add malai and curd, again cook it for 5 minutes. Once the gravy starts loosing the oil add khoya and potatoes. Cover with lid again and let it cook some more time.Garnish with coriander leaves.
