Rice Fritters



Ingredients

Rice cooked1 cup ( brown, white, biryani, pulao)

Salt to taste

Black pepper powder to taste

Refined flour (maida) 1 tablespoon

Processed cheese ½ centimeter cubes100 grams(optional)

Onion chopped1 medium

Green chilly chopped 1

2 tbsp Oil to shallow fry

Method

Add the salt, black pepper powder, green chilly, onion and refined flour to the left over rice.Mix well. (mash the rice a little, if required)

Divide the rice mixture into equal portions and shape them into balls. Insert a cheese cube into the rice ball, enclose it properly and then flatten it slightly.

Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Shallow fry the cheese stuffed fritters, and keep turning till golden and crisp. Remove and drain on absorbent paper.

Serve hot with mint chutney....
