Custard Pudding

Ingredients (measuring cup used, 1 cup = 250 ml)
2.5 cups Milk
5 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp Custard Powder
3 tbsp Milk
1.5 to 2 cups Chopped Fruits ( Banana, Apple, Strawberry, Pomegranate, Orange)
1 packet Fruit cake(10-12 pieces)

Method
Take 2.5 cups milk in a thick bottomed pan or sauce pan and keep it on the stove top. bring the milk to a gentle heat or simmer.
Whilst the milk is getting heated, in a small bowl, take 3 tbsp warm milk. you can take the 3 tbsp warm milk from the milk which is getting heated up or warm 3 tbsp milk separately in a microwave oven or on the stove top. add 2 tbsp custard powder.
Stir very well to make a smooth paste without any lumps.
Keep theflame on a low and then add the custard paste.
As soon as you add the custard mixture, stir quickly so that lumps are not formed.
Keep on stirring often while the custard is cooking, so that lumps are not formed. cook for about 5 to 6 minutes on a low flame.
Add 5 tbsp sugar. stir very well so that the sugar dissolves.
The mixture will thicken slowly. Once done place the custard in fridge to chill it.

Arranging the Pudding
In a glass or bowl arrange the cake on the bottom, put fruits on the cake layer, now pour the custard over it.
Again arrange a layer of cake and then fruits and after that pour the custard.
You can make as many layers as you want.
Once arranged put it in fridge for half an hour and let it set.
Custard pudding is ready to be served.
