Cabbage 1/2 cup thinly chopped
Besan (Gram Flour) 3/4 cup
Green Chilly 1 chopped
Coriander leaves 1 tsp chopped
Ginger 1 tsp chopped
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Hing ( Asafoetida) 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Water to make batter
Oil for frying
Method
In a bowl take the flour add sufficient water to make a medium consistency. Now add rest of the ingredients in the batter.
Heat oil in a pan, keep the flame medium. When the oil becomes hot, add spoonfuls ( can do with hands also) of the batter and fry them till they become crisp and golden in colour.
Can also sprinkle some chat masala on the pakoras and serve with ketchup and mint chutney.
