2 Cups Milk
1 tbsp Cornflour
2 tsp fresh Methi finely chopped
1 tsp Kasturi Methi
1/2 cup Peas boiled
1 tsp ginger chopped
1 tbsp Ghee
1 tsp Black Pepper powder
1 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Method
In a pan heat ghee and add ginger and saute. Now add fresh methi and let it cook for 5 minutes, once it is cooked add kasturi methi, salt and black pepper powder.
Add milk to this, after a boil add cornflour to it ( in a separate bowl mix cornflour with water, there shouldnt be any lumps). Wait for one boil, by now the gravy should have become think ( if the gravy has not become think, add more conflour). Add sugar.
Add the boiled peas, cover with lid and let it cook for 5 minutes.
Malai methi matar is ready. Tastes best with nan and tandoori roti.
