1.5 litre Milk
1/4 cup Basmati Rice
4 tbsp Sugar
1 cup Mango puree
7-8 Almonds chopped
2 Cardamom seeds crushed
Method
Put milk in a pan and let it boil till it reduces.( I normally wait for it to become half)
Add the rice and let it cook. Wait for rice to be cooked and kheer to become thick and creamy. Keep stirring in between.
Now add sugar and mango puree to it. Add almonds.
Let it cook for 5-10 more minutes depending on the consistency of the kheer.
Now add the cardamom and remove from the flame.
Keep in the fridge to cool.
Serve cold and garnish with chopped almonds.
